The College of The Bahamas’ recent study, “Profile of the Sentenced Inmate at Her Majesty’s Prison”, had 336 of the more than 700 sentenced inmates participate in a survey to identify common characteristics of the inmates’ criminal history, demographics, background, and self-perceptions. The data was collected during the summer of 2010.
COB Sociology Professor Jessica Minnis, and Director of Planning, William Fielding, discuss some of the surprising findings.

And baseball in The Bahamas is at a serious impasse, as the International Baseball Federation has ordered the Bahamas Olympic Committee to resolve long-standing conflicts between the Bahamas Baseball Association (BBA) and the Bahamas Baseball Federation (BBF). BBF President Craig Kemp gives his organization’s side of the story.
