Morning Blend 26 March, 2013

The country’s attention is focused on the CARIFTA Track & Field Championships right here in Nassau this weekend, but the swim championships are this weekend as well. Before the 36-member team heads off to compete in Jamaica, we meet Team Bahamas Coach Travano McPhee, and swimmers Gershwin Greene, Keith Lloyd and Anibal Hernandez.

We also discuss National Security Minister Dr. Bernard Nottage’s explanation for the delay in implementing “Marco’s Law” – legislation promised to push for stiffer penalties for child molesters in the wake of the 2011 murder of 11-year old Marco Archer by an accused child sex predator. And we discuss whether living a “Christ-like” life is as (or more) important as being a Christian.
