We discuss the need for financial coaching with Fidelity Bank Bahamas; President Gregory Bethel and Financial Centre Manager (Independence Business Park) Bridget Forbes talk about the many financial challenges facing consumers, and the often tough solutions required to remedy the situation.
We also discuss their other services, including Saturday banking, their Debt$aver Loans and their Asue Savings Accounts.
Their new location at the Independence Business Park (East Street South and Independence Drive) is set to open in November, and their Palmdale location is expanding.

2015/16 Chevening Scholarship recipient Theominique Nottage joins us to talk about the prestigious award. She is the sole Bahamian, along with 11 scholars from Jamaica, who will receive financial support to study for a Master’s Degree in the UK.

Deputy High Commissioner Julia Sutherland with the British High Commission in Kingston, Jamaica, also joins us LIVE via telephone to tell us Theominique – who is a lawyer (with a Bachelor of Law with Honours from UWI), and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Spanish – was selected based on her strong display of leadership, and her commitment to the country’s growth and development.

The Chevening Secretariat is accepting applications for 2016/2017 scholarships from August 3 until November 3. For more information, log on to chevening.org.
