Morning Blend 31 October, 2012

We discuss some of the most devastating hurricanes to hit The Bahamas over the past two centuries with Forecaster and Author Wayne Neely, who has just launched two new books, “The Great Bahamian Hurricanes of 1899 & 1932”, and “The Great Hurricane of 1780”.

And with Remembrance Day on November 11, we talk about Bahamian war veterans, especially the dwindling numbers of those who served in World War II. British Legion-Bahamas Branch Chairman, Comrade Percy Strachan, and Office Administrator, Adina Munroe, also tell us about the various events planned for Veterans Week, beginning November 1 and leading to the Memorial Service on Remembrance Day.
