Also, we discuss this month’s 5th Annual Empty Bowls Bahamas, slated for February 24. Committee members Jay Jones-Mills and Andrea Archer tell us about the serious hunger needs in the country. Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will benefit Great Commission Ministries, Elijah’s Kitchen, and the Methodist Habitat for Humanity, which is assisting people on islands that were impacted by Hurricane Irene two years ago.
