Morning Blend 6 March, 2013

What’s happening to the traditional “native shows” in the country? We discuss the apparent demise of this once-integral part of local nightlife, and the role of Bahamian musicians and music.

As College of The Bahamas lecturers Drs. Craig Smith, Niambi Hall-Campbell and Keithley Woolward tell us, the issue “The Native Show: Then and Now”, will be part of the latest discussion of the Critical Caribbean Symposium Series, Thursday night at Akepran International Academy on Bernard Road at 6pm.

Also, our new medical series “Doc Talk with Dr. C” launches with Dr. James Constantakis discussing what people need to keep in mind in the face of increasingly prevalent pharmaceutical advertising, and the true impact of the overuse of antibiotics.
“Doc Talk with Dr. C” airs every 1st and 3rd Wednesday on Morning Blend.
