Townsley Roberts, incoming President of the Bahamas National Council for Disability, discusses discrimination against disabled people with service dogs, and the need for public education about these specially trained animals. The Council recently received a query from a visitor asking about the national policy on the issue after a legally blind friend was allegedly denied service at a Freeport restaurant because he brought his dog.

And on this Holy Thursday, we delve into why it seems so many young people have become disillusioned with the Church and Organized Religion on the whole, and question why so many people are now claiming to be “spiritual” and “not religious”.
