Morning Blend 22 April, 2013

It’s Earth Day 2013! And we pose the question, “is it time for The Bahamas to institute a closed season for conch?” We discuss that, and the state of conch populations in the country with Jared Dillet, Marine Resources Campaign Coordinator with the Bahamas National Trust.

And following another busy weekend for police, we discuss the root of the crime problems in the country. We also have another discussion about the controversial fee increases at the College of The Bahamas, which in turn sparks a long-running twitter debate. Plus, we choose a “Quote of the Week” from the long list of last week’s unbelievable quotes.
