On this day after Earth Day, we get insight into recycling efforts here in The Bahamas, and the urgent need for a strategic recycling plan for the country. Our guests – Brenville Ferguson and Francisco DeCardenas with Bahamas Waste, and Ginny McKinney with Waste Not – were featured on Monday’s Earth Day Symposium on cans and cardboard recycling. They also highlight the environmental challenges with the New Providence landfill, which is currently spewing smelly smoke over most of New Providence.
