Camille Minns, Junior Achievement Bahamas’ Most Distinguished Achiever for New Providence 2012-2013, joins us along with 2nd place finisher Alysha Dean and 3rd place finisher Adrianne Kelly.
Lashanta Smith, New Providence Program Manager, and Phil Simon, Vice Chairman, also give us details about JA Bahamas’ high school programs, including the student-led “Company Program”, the new elementary school programs, and the ongoing challenges getting young men involved in the prorgram.

Also, Amanda Coulson and John Cox tell us about three new exciting exhibitions at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas: “The John Beadle Project”, “Master Artists of The Bahamas”, and “Singlesex”. The first two open Thursday, April 25, and run through June 30 and August 25, respectively.

And “In The News”, we discuss the government’s defending of its position on tightening work permit requirements, in light of the Philppine Embassy’s concerns about its workers here in The Bahamas.
