We discuss the challenges raising tween girls today. Raeh Roker Williams is putting on a “Sugar & Spice Retreat” for girls ages 8-13. She tells us this can be a difficult time for these girls, with the many societal pressures, conflicting images in the media, and now the added pressure from social media.
The “Sugar & Spice Tweens Empowerment & Fun” is set for June 21 at New Providence Community Church from 9am-6pm. The event is limited to 50 spaces at a cost of $99.
