July 22, 2014: Anthony “Ace” Newbold remembers his friend, cultural icon Edmund Moxey. Newbold wrote and narrated the 2012 documentary, “The Price of Being A Man: The Story of Ed Moxey and the undoing of Jumbey Village, and the Quiet Revolution”. Newbold speaks passionately about Moxey’s vision for the Jumbey Festival and Jumbey Village, how it all unraveled, the victimization that followed, and the impact this had on Moxey and on Bahamian Culture. Moxey passed away on Monday at the age of 80.
