October 17, 2014: With “Science Week” approaching at the College of The Bahamas, we discuss the use of science in the country, and why and how we can get more youngsters involved and interested in the natural sciences. We talk with Dr. Dion Hepburn, Chairperson, School of Chemistry, Environmental & Life Sciences, and Associate Producer Dr. Erecia Hepburn, a specialist in agronomy. Also joining us COB bio/chemistry majors Michaela Stubbs and Keyron Smith.
This year’s “Science Week” theme is “#WhyScience?” and runs from October 20-25, featuring a full slate of events that are free and open to the public. Most of the events are taking place at COB’s Harry C. Moore Library and Information Centre, Auditorium.
