#MorningBlend on November 18, 2014: “Our Children, An Endangered Species” is the theme of the Family Law Conference taking place in New Providence this week. Hosted by the Bahamas Bar Association in conjunction with the International Society of Family Law, the event will examine a wide range of issues including custody and adoption, child labour, violence against children, human trafficking, right to citizenship and immigration. It’s open to lawyers, academics, psychologists, students and policy makers.
Bar Association President Elsworth Johnson and former President Ruth Bowe-Darville give us details about the three-day conference which runs from November 19 through 21 at the British Colonial Hilton.
