In the studio this week are two of the founding members of the “Creative Nassau” group, Pam Burnside and Patricia Glinton-Meicholas. Aside from many other cultural topics, the show will focus on their hard work toward having Nassau designated, in December 2014, as one of UNESCO’s “Creative Citiies” of Folk Craft and Heritage and what this extremely important international designation means for Nassau in particular and and The Bahamas as a whole.
