Charles Hamilton Jr., the Bahamas National Spelling Bee Champion, tells us about his big win on Sunday, what it was like to be the only boy in the entire competition, his methods for studying and learning his words, and his plans to win the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. in May. The 12-year old, who’s an 8th grader at St. Anne’s School, is joined by his very proud mom, Beverly Hamilton, who also happens to be a senior mistress at the school.
