Today is ‪#‎WorldHealthDay‬. This year’s theme is “Food Safety”, with the slogan: “From farm to plate, make food safe.” The aim this year is to bring awareness to the harm caused by food borne illnesses, and the millions who die every year from contaminated food or drinking water. We discuss the issue and the concerns about food handling, safety and preparation here in this country with Registered Nurse Eloise Rolle, the Safety Manager with the Public Hospitals Authority (PHA). The PHA is hosting a World Health Day Symposium today from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the Joe Farrington Road Church of God Auditorium.
