Morning Blend w/ Dwight Strachan – 4th September, 2015

2015/16 Chevening Scholarship recipient Theominique Nottage joins us to talk about the prestigious award. She is the sole Bahamian, along with 11 scholars from Jamaica, who will receive financial support to study for a Master’s Degree in the UK.

Deputy High Commissioner Julia Sutherland with the British High Commission in Kingston, Jamaica, also joins us LIVE via telephone to tell us Theominique – who is a lawyer (with a Bachelor of Law with Honours from UWI), and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Spanish – was selected based on her strong display of leadership, and her commitment to the country’s growth and development.

The Chevening Secretariat is accepting applications for 2016/2017 scholarships from August 3 until November 3. For more information, log on to chevening.org.
