Central Bank Governor Wendy Craigg tells us the Bahamas Credit Bureau will be a good thing for the country. Governor Craigg, along with Central Bank Legal Counsel Rachelle Deleveaux, discuss how the proposed credit reporting system would work, how it will benefit consumers, and who would have access to consumers’ credit information.
Craigg and Deleveaux tell us it may take another 18 months before the bureau comes into effect.

Seven months after the government’s new immigration policy went into effect, we discuss the impact this has had on Haitian/Bahamian relations. Our guests, Robert Dieudonne and Luckner Cira, also talk about Haitian-Bahamian identity, illegal immigration, and the rumored “no go” zones for Bahamians in this country.
We also get details about their new programs on Guardian Radio. Airing under the umbrella, “Voices of the Diaspora”, the programs will examine Haitian-Bahamian issues from various perspectives, including news and music/entertainment.
