#‎MorningBlend‬ on January 15, 2015: The Genesis Junkanoo Organization is aiming to shake up the Junkanoo world. The group is also pledging to introduce a new level of community involvement and youth empowerment. Fernerin Hanna and Nathan Taylor tell us the “Warhawks” are growing in size, and are ready and capable of challenging the frontrunners in any category. In addition to participating in numerous events throughout the year, Genesis’ first Junkanoo parade will be the Boxing Day competition this December.
