May 28, 2014: Today is World MS Day, designed to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis. The neurological disorder is a major cause of disability in young adults, affecting 2.3 million people worldwide. Most people are diagnosed between ages 20 and 40.
Gandhi Pinder was diagnosed with MS two years ago. She discusses her challenges with the disorder and her prognosis. She’s encouraging everyone to wear orange today in support of the fight against MS.
