We have a heated debate on Discovery Day versus National Heroes Day. With the government set today to officially sign into effect the National Heroes Act – making the 2nd Monday every October the National Heroes Day Holiday, eliminating Discovery Day as a holiday – we discuss whether this is the right way forward, and whether we have effectively capitalized on the historical significance of Discovery Day.
