Last year was a challenging one for the Yellow Elder community; there was an unprecedented number of murders and other violent crimes in the area in 2014. Hoping to reverse these disturbing trends, community leaders are joining forces to launch a series of “Spring Cleaning, Community and Fellowship Events”. We speak with Reuben Rahming and Collin Ingraham about what’s slated for Saturday, March 21, including a massive community cleanup encompassing Yellow Elder and also Millennium Gardens and Stapledon Gardens. Events also include a community rush out, memorial service and community “grill & chill”.
