Emporia State University in Kansas is holding a student and parent evening tonight. Carla Turnquest with College Ready Bahamas, and Neucasha Greene – a Bahamian who recently graduated from Emporia State, and now works for the university, recruiting international students – tell us there is still time to apply for students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate studies at the university this Fall. The deadline is May 1. The meeting is set for 6pm at the 7th Terrace Collins Ave. offices of College Ready Bahamas, a representative of EducationUSA – a US State Department supported network of centres from around the world, advising international students on how to apply to US colleges and universities.
