Morning Blend 22 October, 2013

We discuss “Nation Building Through Science”. That’s the theme of this year’s ‘Science Week’ at the College of The Bahamas, which will address issues like food security, energy sustainability, and research. Dr. Dion Hepburn, chair of School of Chemistry, Environmental and Life Sciences, also tells us about the science week events at the college.

The Gala black-tie Ball of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce & Employers Confederation is set for Saturday, November 9, at the Atlantis Ballroom. Co-chair of the Ball Committee, and the Chamber’s Matt Sweeting, tell us this year’s Ball will celebrate the rich history and legacy of the Chamber, and will recognize the contributions of past presidents. Tickets are $250 and going fast.
