This 2-hour Current Affairs Programme explores in greater depth the stories making News headlines in the print and electronic media. It seeks to create a platform to evaluate the stories and discuss the issues from perspectives not articulated in the specific story. It goes beyond the partisan views or agendas of political organizations, community activists and other special interests groups and objectively explores the issue. It seeks to effectively tell the stories behind the story with a view to possibly creating a more enlightened public.

High emphasis will be placed on the involvement of experts, journalists and other informed members of the public to provide opportunities for comprehensive, engaging discussion. The final hour of the Friday show will be dedicated to proposed recommendations as a result of the week-long discussions.
