Morning Blend 20 May, 2014

May 20, 2014: The Cat Island Rake n Scrape Festival is just over two weeks away. Festival Association President Sidney Isaacs tells us about the origins of the festival, and all that’s planned for this year’s event.
Isaacs also gives his view on the proposed Bahamas Carnival, and responds to musician Kirk “KB” Bodie’s Facebook post suggesting that instead of the Carnival, the Rake n Scrape Festival should be promoted as the country’s flagship music/entertainment event. The Cat Island Rake n Scrape Festival is June 5-8.
