TRACKWORLD is a live weekly Talk Show that airs every Tuesday. The show is hosted by Track and Field historian, former athlete and current BAAA executive, Alpheus “Hawk” Finlayson. This one-hour programme airs at 6:30pm every Tuesday and generates interesting discussion on the happenings in track and field on Guardian Radio 96.9FM.

2015/16 Chevening Scholarship recipient Theominique Nottage joins us to talk about the prestigious award. She is the sole Bahamian, along with 11 scholars from Jamaica, who will receive financial support to study for a Master’s Degree in the UK.

Deputy High Commissioner Julia Sutherland with the British High Commission in Kingston, Jamaica, also joins us LIVE via telephone to tell us Theominique – who is a lawyer (with a Bachelor of Law with Honours from UWI), and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Spanish – was selected based on her strong display of leadership, and her commitment to the country’s growth and development.
